  1. Danelle,

I very much like seeing this data about the South Waterfront. Could you look at the diagrams and photos analytically, thinking about what our speakers have told us? For example, Mark Raggett talked about differentiating the nature of streets so that some would be more grand public avenues bustling with retail activity, others would have a more intimate quiet residential quality, some would be very green to create natural habitat. How is the current plan creating these different qualities and how well are transitions made between them?

You could also write about how the plan for So Waterfront reinforces links to the water, and north-south connectivity (for bikes, pedestrians, cars, etc.) When

The historic photos are especially useful. Could you continue the series with the current Google maps aerial as well as future plans by Ankrom Moison and others?

Let's see what you can do to interpret this data into useful design interpretations. Be sure to edit the post to add the citations for the information sources or you could be seen as plagiarizing.

    Nancy
